Dean has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer for over 60 years. He is a graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and was chosen as Funeral Director of the Year 2007-2008 by the Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association. He passed away on December 29, 2021.
Joe has been part of the staff of Ladusau-Evans for the past 24 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. He served as the president of the Oklahoma Funeral Directors Association from 2004-2005 and president of Hospice Circle of Love in 2006, as well as a member of Enid Mennonite Church.
He is married to Desiree' (Lavicky) and has two children, Hunter and Blake. He is an owner and managing partner of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Sheri Francis received a BA in Mortuary Science from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2011 and an associate degree from Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City in Veterinary Technology with a specialty in equine medicine. She has lived in Enid since joining the team at Ladusau-Evans in 2014.
Prior to moving to Enid, Sheri worked for a family-owned firm in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She has three grandchildren, Ethan, Zavion, and Lillie, as well as two miniature dachshunds, Annie and Finn.
Jon has been part of the Ladusau-Evans staff since March of 2020. He graduated from mortuary school in May of 2024, at the University of Central Oklahoma and obtained his degree in funeral directing and embalming.
He was previously in the oil and gas industry hauling hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid to frac locations. He has always wanted to work in the funeral industry and has always had the drive to help people in need.
Jon has been married to his wife Meredith, since 2008, and they have two children together, Abeni and Sie Riley. He likes to spend time with his children, and enjoys watching the OSU Cowboys, Boston Red Sox, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Jon has lived his entire life in Enid, and considers this his home.
Rev. Vernon Lee joined the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home staff in 2015. He is a licensed and ordained Baptist minister who has served churches for over 35 years, pastoring in Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana. He has also served as a chaplain in the funeral home ministry since 2007.
He attended Panhandle State University and Chriswell Bible College. He was born in Enid and grew up on a farm in Drummond, Ames community, graduating from Drummond High School. In 1974, he married Bonita Bingham. They have one son, Jason, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter.
Rev. Jim Edmison joined the staff of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home in 2009, following a 31-year career in ministry in the United Methodist Church. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in Religion, Psychology, and Sociology from Phillips University and a Master of Divinity from Phillips Graduate Seminary.
His wife, Rev. Gail Edmison, is the Director of Pastoral Care at The Commons. The two of them have three sons and 10 grandchildren. Jim is a member of the Order of St Luke, a religious order in the United Methodist Church, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
