A Celebration of Life for Matthew Ging, 92, of Enid, will be Saturday December 10, 2016, 2:00 at the Community Bible Church with Pastor Bill Smith officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Matthew was born April 5, 1924 in Carmen, Oklahoma the son of John and Ruby Love Ging and passed away December 6, 2016.

Matthew was united in marriage to Obera Kehn October 23, 1948 in Enid and she preceded him in death June 13, 1990. He was veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He was an avid sports fan, especially the OKC Thunder and OU and OSU football.

Survivors include five daughters, Susan Nichols (Dennis), of Helena, OK, Diane Canonge (Brian) of Enid, Denise Lewis (Larry) of McAlester, OK, Teresa Hattan (Greg) of Topeka, KS and Renita Cantellay (Benny) of Kingfisher, OK, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one sister, Frances Davis of Ponca City, OK. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Ivan, Jesse and Milton, sisters, Doris Smith, Shirley Briggs and Norma Ruth Hoskins and a special friend Juanita Boyle.
