A Celebration of Life for Rebecca Diane “Becky” Lockhart, age 34 years, of Pauls Valley, formerly of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Mark Compton will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Becky was born June 14, 1981 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Travis Lockhart and Lodea (Shaw) Lockhart, and passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. She attended Enid Public Schools, and graduated from Raytown High School in Raytown, Missouri. Following graduation, she attended Autry Technological Center pursuing a degree in nursing, graduating from the Licensed Practical Nursing Program in 2012. She worked at several nursing homes before working at the VA Hospital in Pauls Valley.

Becky moved to Pauls Valley in 2014 where she met her fiancé John Cormier. She and John were planning to build a house and blending their families together, her three children and his two! Becky was looking forward to a motorcycle trip with John, just going where the road would take them. She had just purchased a special pair of glasses in preparation for her trip. They enjoyed going places, she was always on the go, and enjoyed taking the kids to see family and friends. Becky and the kids attended the Baptist Church in Pauls Valley, and her daughters had recently returned from a fun week of church camp. Becky loved her children, they were the most important thing in her life. She enjoyed spending time with them and watching them grow.

She is preceded in death by her grand-fathers, Frankie Lockhart, Junior Tillman, and Elmer Shaw; an aunt, Kathy Lockhart; and great-grandmother, Crystal Phye.

Becky is survived by her parents, Travis Lockhart and wife Dianne, of Kansas City, Missouri; mother Lodea Lockhart, of Enid; three children, Faith Kinsey, Mia Kinsey, and Josiah Brennan, all of Pauls Valley; maternal grandmother, Bobetta Shaw, of Enid; paternal grandmother, Margaret Tillman, of Jennings, OK; brothers, Christopher Lockhart, Aaron Lockhart and wife Ashley, Josh Gusa, Jacob Lockhart; sister, Brandy Barrows; step-brothers, Mark Nelson and wife Melody and their daughter Zoe, of Kansas City; Wesley Nelson and wife, Victoria, of Kansas City; fiancé John Cormier and his two children, Alexis and Brock Cormier, of Pauls Valley; sister-in-law, Courtney Engstrom; nephews, Alex, Wyatt, and Quentin, all of Kansas City; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Memorials in Becky’s name may be made to either the Alexander Burn Center or towards funeral expenses with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
