Ginger Young

A Celebration of Life Service for Ginger K. Young age 71 of Enid will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Bishop Bryan Redd officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery at a later date. Cremation and Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ginger was born November 5, 1946 in Blackfoot, ID to Ben and Therma Wood Keller and passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 in Garland Road Nursing Home. Ginger grew up in Adair, OK where she graduated from Adair High School. She later attended and graduated from Draughon School of Business in Tulsa, OK. She married Stanley Young on November 27, 1964, in Adair, OK. She worked as a secretary for Precision Wireline in Enid for several years. Ginger was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Ginger is survived by her husband Stan of the home, daughters; Angela Reese and husband Darrell, Michelle Plymale and husband Eldon, Jr, Shawnna Hobbs and husband David, and Kimberely Lindsey and husband Stephen all of Enid, two grandsons, five granddaughters, two great grandsons, and three great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Bonnie Wheeler and Patty Schoonover, and nephew Billy Ivey.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
