The funeral service for Ronald D Wright, age 48, will be held Monday, April 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Rev Christopher Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.
Ron was born April 18, 1961 in Enid, OK to Carol and Nancy (Higgins) Wright and died March 31, 2010 in Enid. He graduated from Enid High School. He attended OSU.
He married Leslie Kirby on October 15, 2009 in Enid, OK. He served in the US Army. He worked as a flooring installer. He enjoyed OU sports, going to the lake and boating. Traveling and music were also things he enjoyed and he enjoyed his friends.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie and two children, Chelsea Schwarz and Cody Schwarz; his parents, Carol and Nancy Wright of Enid; sisters, Debbie Underwood and husband Wes Harvey of Broomfield, CO, Karen Hensley and husband Terry of Enid, OK, Narda Hoover and husband Bob of Hunter, OK and brother, Tim Wright and wife Amber of Enid, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Eula Higgins, paternal grandfather, Richard Alvin Wright and paternal grandparents, Niles and Bessie Winget and nephew, Jayse Logan Freelove.
Memorials may be made to the Children’s Education fund or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation – Cancer Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be emailed to the family at ladusauevans@suddenlinkmail.com.
