Winston Worrell

A Celebration of Life Service for Winston George Worrell age 80 of Garber will be 10 am Wednesday at the Garber Christian Church with Rev. Ronnie Drage officiating. Burial will follow in the Garber Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Winston was born May 21, 1940 in Enid to Ted and Eda Lou Barhyte Worrell and passed away June 5, 2020 in the Garland Road Assisted Living Center. He graduated from Garber High School in 1958. He attended Tonkawa Jr. College for 2 years. He joined the Army in 1960 and was stationed 3 years in Fulda, Germany. He returned to Enid/Garber Community where he owned and operated Triangle Paint Co. He joined his father in farming and raising cattle. Winston loved animals and could not pass any stray animal. He was a member of Garber Christian Church and the Enid Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his sister Carol Lee Worrell of Garber, daughters; Carrie Fenley and Michelle and husband Brian Zaloudek, granddaughters; Dedra and husband Brad Gober, Mackenzie and Macy Zaloudek, and grandson Landon Fenley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Garber Christian Church or Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund. Condolences may be made online at www.ladusaueavns.com .
