Elsie Woods

October 20, 1936 — November 9, 2015

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Elsie Irene Woods will be Thursday, November 12, 2015, 10:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Chapel with Rev. Diana Pruitt officiating. Private Family burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Irene was born on October 20th 1936 to Howard and Agnes (Campbell) Marsolf, and raised on a farm west of Hunter and passed away November 9, 2015.

Irene was united in marriage to Don Woods on May 14th 1957. To this union, three sons were born: Alan, Scott, and Mark.

She was not only a devoted mother, but a best friend, a counselor and consoler, and the architect that formed our guiding life principles.

Irene is survived by her three sons: Alan and wife Faith of Pensacola Florida, Scott of Oklahoma City and Mark of Enid. Two sisters: Ruby ((Bob) Schroeder of Enid, and Oletta Byrne of Wichita, Kansas. Also surviving are many much loved cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and Sister Vera Clem.

The family would like to thank all of the IMCU staff at Integris Health Center Enid, for their attentive and compassionate care, to include our heartfelt appreciation to Dr Sarah Matousek for her personal devotion to our mother.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a kind donation to a local non-profit of your choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the funds.
