The funeral service for Truman Perry “Woody” Woodford, age 80, will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Gail Edmison will officiate. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery, Helena, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Woody was born May 18, 1930 in Binghamton, NY to Clayton and Nellie Tanner Woodford and died April 6, 2011 at the Commons Methodist Home.

On October 1, 1950 he married Dorotha Ellen Carter in Enid, OK. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean and Viet Nam War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Enid Lodge No. 80 and the Am Vets.

Survivors include his wife, Dorotha; three sons, Dennis Ray Woodford of Seiling, OK , Steven Douglas and wife Brenda Woodford of Enid, OK and Terry Dean Woodford of San Antonio, TX; one granddaughter, two grandsons; five great grandchildren and sister, Carol Gilbert of CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Shelty Jo Woodford and great grandson, Chantry Jo Cornstabble.
