Funeral services for Bart Edmond Wisehart, who succumbed to cancer, will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 2:00 P.M.at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Edmison will officiate.
Graveside services will be Thursday, April 5, 2012, 2:00 P.M. at the Ransom Cemetery; Ransom, Kansas under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Bart was born August 26, 1955, the son of John Edmond and Charlotte H. Miller Wisehart in Kiowa, Kansas and died April 1, 2012 in Enid. Bart moved with his family to Enid in 1961 and was a graduate of Enid High School in 1973. He was united in marriage to Margaret Sue Weber and later divorced. He was employed by Thurman Block and Bridge and Dr. Pepper Bottling Company and then began a 34 year career with Northwest Veterinary Supply of Enid. Bart’s life revolved around family, friends, work and home. He enjoyed being known as “Uncle Bart”. He was an avid reader and always enjoyed sharing what he learned. Bart was an excellent cook, sharing the results of kitchen escapades with everyone.
Survivors include a brother, John C. Wisehart and wife Kay of Stillwater, two sisters, Kathleen Epley and husband Gary of Emporia, Kansas, Lynn McBay and husband Billy of Broken Arrow; four nephews, Justin Buller, Jeremy McBay, John Christian Wisehart, and Jacob Wisehart; one niece, Jahna Howell; five great nephews and one great niece; and close friend, Nancy Chodrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Joshua McBay.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ransom Cemetery, Ransom, Kansas or the Ransom, Kansas V. F. W. with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
