A Celebration of Life for Wessley Winters, 81, of Enid, will be Wednesday, February 24, 2016, 2:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Chaplain Bill King officiating. Interment will follow in the Enid Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 pm Tuesday. He passed away February 19, 2016.
Wessley was born November 26, 1934 in Madisonville, TN the son of Samuel and Stella Bivens Winters. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a Vance AFB civilian employee for over 40 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 80 and a 32nd degree Mason. He will be remembered as a person who lived life to the fullest. Wessley will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia, four daughters, Katherin Winters of Tulsa, OK, VaNee Williams (Michael) of Colorado Springs, CO, Vicki Troutman of Enid, and Lisa Long (Gary) of Claremore, OK, two sons, Donald Slowik (Janet) of Stafford, VA, Tim Luckett (Cynthia) of Waukomis, OK, ten grandchildren, Jason and Christopher Winters, Louis (Kristen), VaLeene (Nate), Nicole, Lynn (Allison), Nathan, Garret, Chase and Nicholas and eleven great-grandchildren.
