Theleta Williams

A Celebration of Life service for Theleta M. Williams age 72 of Marshall will be 10:00 am Friday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Robert Stewart and Rev. Dennis Wistrom officiating. Burial will follow in the Douglas Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Theleta was born September 5, 1949 in Enid, OK to William Vernon and Edna Wilson and passed away December 2, 2021 in St. Mary’s Hospital. She was adopted by her aunt and uncle William Earl and Mabell J. Wilson Thomas when she was 3 years old. She attended and graduated from Covington-Douglas High School in 1967. She married Larry Williams on March 22, 1968 in the Covington Christian Church. She worked as the head cook at Pioneer Schools for over 30 years. She also had TLT Cake catering business for many years. She catered the Garber Theater. She was an active member of the Douglas Christian Union Church.

Theleta is survived by her husband Larry of the home, daughters; LoRae Sterling and husband David and Tammy Buller and husband Travis, grandchildren Dylan and Sarah Sterling, Ben and Abby Buller, great grandchildren Daxton Sterling, brother Ron Thomas and 3 nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
