The celebration of life for Randy Williams will be Thursday April 21, 2016 at Garriott Road Church of Christ at 2:00 pm. Ray Rose will be officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Randy was born March 8, 1953 in Enid, OK to Dale and Darla Williams. He passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the age of 63. Randy graduated from Enid High School in 1971 and from Oklahoma State University in 1976 with an Associate Degree in Construction Management.
He and his brother, Wayne were co-owners of Williams Construction. Randy was a masonry contractor, carpenter and home builder for over 40 years.
Randy passionately served his church family as a deacon and elder for many years. He generously gave his time to anyone and was a pillar of strength and character.
He loved family time together and was a Godly example within his family. He was an amazing Christian man and an incredible example of trusting God and enduring every trial life gave him without complaining.
Randy loved playing softball, watching sports with friends and vacationing in the mountains. He was very involved with Lariat Creek Christian Camp and instrumental in building two log cabins for the camp.
Randy is survived by his wife Joy; three children, Emily Williams, Tyler (Jennifer) Williams and Chase (Jaime) Williams all of Enid. He was eagerly expecting his first grandchild in October. He is also survived by brothers, Monty Williams; Wayne (Reeta) Williams; Bryan (Delise) Williams; sister, Cindy Williams and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dale and Darla Williams, grandparents, Earl and Eva Fourier, Dale and Eula Williams and his uncle, Don Myers.
Memorial contributions in remembrance of Randy may be given to Lariat Creek Christian Camp and Colorado Christian Services with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
