A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Bruce Alan Wildrix, age 52, of Waukomis, is 3:00 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jim Edmison officiating. Bruce passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 in Enid. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Bruce was born November 24, 1962 in Enid. He attended school at Perryton, Texas where he excelled in athletics, especially football and track. His relay team still holds records to this day. He moved back to Enid in the early 80’s and worked in the oilfield for Logan Drilling and Lamunyon Drilling. His two children, Trent and Kylea were the light of his life. Family was important to Bruce. He loved his children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by them all. He loved fishing, and was a die-hard Oklahoma Sooner fan. He liked to play pool and shoot darts with his wife Elaine through Captain’s Quarters. He and Elaine were married January 31, 2009 in Enid.
He is survived by his wife Elaine, of the home in Waukomis, parents Raymond Smith and wife Midge, of Elk City, Ok; father in law, Larry Litschke of Waukomis; children, Trent Holbert and Kylea Wildrix; Claryssa Schonlau and wife Jessica, of Oklahoma City; Lyda Litschke and Kevin Dearing, of Waukomis; two brothers Dale Wildrix and wife Stephanie, of Enid; Jeff Wildrix and wife Jeanne, of Fairview; two sisters, LeAnna Brewer and husband Larry, of Marlow, Ok; DeeDee Brown and husband Dave, of Enid; four grandchildren, JJ, Zander, Joseph, and Raydyn, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Debbie Smith, nephew Derrick Davis, mother in law, Katherine Litschke, and father, Cleo Wildrix.
The family requests memorials be made in Bruce’s name to Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
