A Celebration of Life service for Rev. Kenneth A. Wilcox, age 78, of Hillsdale, OK will be 2:00 pm Saturday at the Hillsdale Bible Church with Rev. Robert Courtney officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsdale Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born February 6, 1936 in Union, NJ to Aubrey C. and Marie Anne Beyer Wilcox and passed away at his home Sunday, March 30, 2014 after a period of ill health. He was raised in Neptune, NJ where he attended and graduated from high school in 1953. Kenneth married his college sweetheart Virginia Cramer on September 7, 1957 in Feasterville, PA. He attended Eastern Baptist College in St. David’s, PA; Kings College in Briancliff, NY; Cairn University in Langhorne, PA where he received his Bachelors of Science in Bible in 1973. He also attended Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Philadelphia PA for 2 years.
Kenneth pastored seven churches in 55 years which include Salisbury, MA; Lenola, NJ; Pennsauken, NJ; Paradise, PA; Bristol, PA; Okeene, OK, (1995-2006) and was the Interim Pastor at Hillsdale Bible Church from September 2007- March 2009. He retired in the Hillsdale community.
Kenneth was a member of the IFCA and Conservative Baptist, with his churches being either Bible, Community, or Baptist churches. He also served on the boards of 2 missions and spent 3 years working in the communications department of Western Bible College in Colorado.
Kenneth is survived by his wife Virginia of the home, children Karen Lapp and husband Darrell of Ronks, PA; Mark S. Wilcox of Denver, CO; Sue Hoffsommer and husband Jeff of Hillsdale; Steven and wife Alisa Wilcox of Greeley, CO; Kym Wilcox of Mountville, PA; and Vicky and husband Jeff Morgan of Ephrata, PA, 18 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister Ruth P. Cover of Salisbury, Maryland and 10 nieces and 6 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stewart Wilcox, and infant daughter Valerie.
Kenneth chose the Mission Fund at Hillsdale Bible Church or Gideon’s International for his memorials with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.

Pastor Ken’s parting desires are: 1st… that you sorrow no more for him for even as you read this he is worshipping at his Savior’s throne, and 2nd… in God’s perfect time you will join him there. Praise the Lord! AMEN.
