The funeral service for Betty Jo Wheeler, age 81 will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 10:00 am at Temple Baptist Church. Rev Kevin Strope will officiate. Burial will be in the Dover Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Betty was born November 25, 1929 in Kingfisher County, OK to Joe and Delma Morris Webb and died April 14, 2011 at the Greenbrier Nursing Home.
She worked as a nurse’s aide and a cook. She attended Temple Baptist Church.
She married Dale Wheeler on August 30, 1946 and later married Cecil Bell in 1978.
Survivors include her 8 children: Larry (Gail) Wheeler of Lahoma, OK, Gary (Ruby) Wheeler of Enid, OK, Barbara DeCorte of Rockledge, FL, Robert (Barbara) Wheeler of Waukomis, OK, Berniece (Chris) Fuksa of Enid, OK , Donnie Wheeler of FL, Judy (Drew) Snow of Unadill, NY, Kathy (Larry) Thomas of Waukomis, OK; brothers, Johnny (Virginia) Webb of Grand Junction, CO and Ray Webb of Enid, sisters Ruby (Thomas) Patterson of Mason, GA, Delores Schauer of Schertz, TX, Carolyn (Harvey) Thompson of Sagle, ID, Marilyn (Nathan) Shearon of Enid, OK; 22 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren and 6 great great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Fay, 2 brothers Daniel and Jerry and 3 grandchildren, Zachary, Luke, and Steven
