Linda was born November 4, 1952 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Gerald and Janet (Coahran) Allen, and passed away March 29, 2022. She met Charles “Larry” Weaver in February 1970. Linda graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1971 and finally they were married on July 22, 1972 and over the years followed him around the USA and Europe during a long military career ending up in Lawton, Oklahoma. Then on to Enid after retirement. One constant throughout this time was her faith. Linda was active in the church teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School Superintendent and innumerable Bible studies. She was a very active member of the Protestant Women of the Chapel. Linda was president of the local chapter in Germany and also secretary of the European chapter. Even as her physical abilities diminished her faith just expanded. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her husband, Charles L. “Larry” Weaver; daughter, Christina Beckwith and husband Victor; son, Shawn Weaver and wife Shawna; grandchildren, Larkin, Jeffrey and Austin; siblings, Gerald “Bud” Allen and Vickie Canter; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
