A Celebration of Life for Darla Unruh, age 77 years, of Goltry, is 10:00 am, Monday, February 19, 2018 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Dale Cummings will officiate with burial to follow in Bison Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Darla was born March 27, 1940 in Elk City, Oklahoma to D.C. and Joyce (Cupp) Armstrong, and passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 in Enid.
She is preceded in death by her parents, D.C. and Joyce Armstrong; brother, Sherman Armstrong; and great-granddaughter, Knoxley Lou Colton. She is survived by her husband Jerry Unruh, of the home in Goltry; five children, Jerry Unruh, Jr., of Georgia; Tammy and Terry Colton, of Kentucky; Jim and Tracy Unruh, of Kansas; Jackie and Rod Scovel, of Enid; Danita Mack, of Waukomis; nineteen grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; brother, Dannie and Judy Armstrong, of Ohio; and sister-in-law Dea Unruh, of Arkansas.
Memorials in Darla’s name may be made to Goltry Fire Department with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds. The family would like to express a very special thank you to Johnny Nichols, EMT at Goltry, for always being there.
