A Celebration of Life for Don Tribble, age 70 years, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Terry Glaze officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Don was born March 20, 1952 in Oregon, to David and Arduth (Sparks) Tribble, and passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 in Enid.
Don grew up in Enid, and attended Enid Public Schools. He attended Authy Technology Center where he studied HVAC; and eventually returned to teach the class many years later. Don worked for Luckinbill, Inc., Hack Dillon Properties and Northwest Mechanical as well as owning a car wash and T & T Automart in Waukomis. He enjoyed dirt track racing at Enid Speedway and riding his Harley; owning many motorcycles and Corvettes throughout the years. He also loved spending time at the lake with his family and friends. Don always felt a calling to proselytize, spreading the gospel through music for many churches over the years, and participating in missionary work in Trinidad and Tobago. He was loved and respected and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
Don is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Theresa Bellis. He is survived by his wife Ona Tribble; four children, Rick Tribble and Jennifer, of CO; Chris Tribble, of Enid; Jeremiah Tribble and wife Cassandra, of VA; Keylie Niles of Enid; two step-children, Brent Avery and wife Katie, of Mustang, OK; Tonya Avery, of Garber; ten grandchildren; and three great-granchildren.
Memorial contributions in Don’s name may be made to World Harvest Church Missions with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
