John J Thornton, age 74 of Enid, OK passed away August 7, 2010 at his home. He was born September 17, 1935 in Nashville, TN to Francis and Kathran Thornton. He married Rose Mary Parrish on September 4, 1962 in Sayre, OK. To this marriage of 47 years, six sons were born: Edward, Darryl, Hank, Daniel, Robert and Calvin.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Mary, six sons; and sister, Katherine Thornton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Frank Thornton.
There will be no service. Memorials may be made to the funeral home in the name of John T Thornton. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
