Vera Tharp

Vera Mae (Krout) Tharp, 88, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Enid.

She was born July 19, 1922 to Cyrus Brook and Nora (Howard) Krout in Okeene,

OK.

She was employed in various food service positions throughout her lifetime. She

married Leland Tharp May 30, 1972 in Ville Platte, LA. He preceded her in death

on April 10, 2006.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Deshotel of Beaumont, TX;

granddaughters, Nichole Adcock of Hennessey, OK; Donna Lanereneau of

Eunice, LA; two great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Jo Via of Mosely, VA/

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and two brothers.

Viewing will be 9:00 am Monday, January 3, 2011 at the chapel of Enid Cemetery

following by a memorial service at the same location at 10:00 am with Rev Jim

Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Arrangements are under

the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to

Hospice Circle of Love or Community Church of the Plains. Condolences may be
