The graveside service for Leota B Swank, age 90 will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Leota was born January 16, 1921 in Arbela, MO to Ernest and Verna E Cochenour Trammell and died July 18, 2011 in Enid, OK. She married Carl (Jack) Swank on February 15, 1942 in Enid, OK and to this union were born Patricia, Clifford and Jackie. She was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church and life long member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Leota loved baking and making all kinds of candy. Her specialty was peanut brittle and she sold it to many. She also enjoyed handiwork and gardening
Survivors include her children: Patricia Walz and husband Garylee of Bison, OK, Clifford Swank of Colorado Springs, CO and Jackie Swank and wife Doris of Arlington, TX; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; sister, Vera Ryles of Creve Coeur, IL and brother, Vance Trammell and wife Hattie of Tulsa, OK.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, her parents, four brothers, and one sister.
