Leroy was born September 23, 1927 in Ramona, OK to Leonard and Goldie Street. He went to school in Ramona, OK and married Elda Ruth Street on November 23, 1943. They had two daughters, Cheryl L. Street and Carolyn Ruth Sanders. Leroy was an entrepreneur in Cherokee, OK. He owned Street Service Company, which built oil and gas locations with his bull dozers. In 1961, Leroy and Ruth moved to Waukomis, OK. Leroy had many businesses; Three Bar Oil Company an oil reclaiming plant, Circle “S” fiberglass manufacturing plant, salt water disposal wells and fifteen Sirloin of America steak houses located in Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri. In addition, he was a man of vision and built a working ranch in the hills of Arkansas with cattle and horses. We spent many joyful summers at the ranch. Leroy had many businesses from state to state and he learned how to fly a plane, which was quite an adventure at times, he was a very good pilot.

Leroy was a family man who always made them his first priority. No matter how busy he was with his work, he always made time for his grandchildren, which he adored. He always put the needs of others before his own and never complained. Leroy was a generous volunteer with his time and money to many churches throughout his life. He leaves behind a legacy of hard, honest work ethics and a Christian faith, which will live on in the lives of those he leaves behind.

His first wife of fifty years passed away and Leroy married Wanda Lively and they lived in Hennessey, OK. They traveled with their motor home with Sam’s club for many years. In retirement, Leroy bought, refurbished and sold used oil field equipment.
