A Celebration of Life for Eva P. Stout, 72, of Enid, will be Monday, August 1, 2016, 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Susan Southall officiating. Services and cremation are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Eva was born August 1, 1943 in Enid, Ok the daughter of Harry and Mildred Melia Smith and passed away July 27, 2016. Eva grew up in the small town of Jefferson, OK where she met the love of her life, Ed Stout. They were married for over 53 years. They later moved to Enid where they raised their three daughters. Eva was always involved in their daughters lives as well as other children she cared for. She worked in the nursery at First United Methodist Church, was a Bluebird and Campfire leader, a PTO member and was active with the youth group at Central United Methodist Church. She worked for many years at Evans Drug Store and then Busy Bee Day Care and Happy Time Day Care. Eva never met a stranger and could hardly go to town without meeting up with someone she knew.
Survivors include her husband Ed, three daughters, Elaine Logan and husband Allen of Mustang, Lori Neitzke and her husband Bill of Dayton, Ohio and Liz Pena of Enid, seven grandchildren, Ryan Neitzke, Hayden Logan, Rachel Neitzke, Sally Logan, Carson Logan, Ava Pena, a great granddaughter, Haylee Neitzke, a brother, Ronnie Smith of Pottersville, MO, numerous cousins and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Turner Wehrenberg.
