Claude Stepp

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Claude E. Stepp, 87, of Enid, will be Saturday, December 13, 2014, 10:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 7 PM.

Claude was born May 11, 1927, the son of Thomas E and Dora E Vogel Stepp and passed away December 7, 2014. Claude attended schools in Jet, OK. He was united in marriage to Martha Louise Peck on July 28, 1950 in Jet, OK. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during WWII. He enlisted March 27, 1945 and was honorably discharged October 24, 1947. Claude owned and operated CE Stepp Welding Service for many years and also worked the family wheat farm in Alfalfa County. Claude enjoyed gardening and fishing. He made many items treasured by family and friends using his welding expertise. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Louise, three daughters, Kathryn Stepp and Anna Stepp, both of Oklahoma City, Sharon Davis of Padre Island, TX, two grandchildren, Marie Davis and her partner, Wyatt Williams and Brandon Thacker and his partner, Emily Bryant; a great-grandson, Colt Williams, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, eight sisters and a son-in-law.
