A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Dorothy Stephens, 92, of Enid, will be Saturday, December 13, 2014, 2:00 PM at the Enid Cemetery Chapel.
Dorothy was born May 30, 1922 in Enid, OK, the daughter of William and Ora DeNoon Trimble and passed away December 8, 2014. She was a graduate of Enid High School in 1941. She was united in marriage to Jack D Stephens July 24, 1943 and he preceded her in death April 26, 1973. Dorothy was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church and formerly a member of The First Church of God.
Survivors include a daughter, LaDonna McAninch and her husband Clyde Dawson McAninch of Ardmore, two grandchildren, Angela Bumgarner and her husband Mark and Stephen McAninch and his wife Yvette, three great-grandchildren, Mathew, Lauren and Emilee Bumgarner. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Eunice Mosher and Opal Walton, one brother, Bill Trimble.
