A memorial service for Michael J. Buzan, Sr age 62 will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Cremation will follow under the kind direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
He was born December 5, 1947 in Lebanon, IN to Lewis and Helen Earp Buzan and passed away at this home on October 29, 2010.
He entered the U. S. Marines on September 30, 1966 and served during the Vietnam Area. He received National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Metal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and a Purple Heart Medal. He was discharged on October 21, 1968.
He married Joanie Oswald on April 1, 2006.
He is survived by his wife Joanie of the home, sons, Michael Buzan, Jr and his wife Patty of Wilburton, OK, Bill Buzan and his wife Faith of Breckenridge, OK, Step children, Tara Lyles and her husband Brian of Germany, Russell Oswald and his wife Becky of Waukomis, Dea Tatro and her husband Mike of Enid, sisters Pam Miller and husband Gary of Gaston, IN, Debbie Nevin of Anderson, IN, and Brenda Woods and husband Danny of TN, 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law David Nevins.
Memorials may be made to OMRF-Diabetes Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.
