A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Charles “Chub” Maurice Sowle, 98, of Enid will be Monday, June 15, 2015, 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ted Kuschel officiating. Services are under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home

Chub was born July 12, 1916 in Garfield, OK the son of Charles and Katie Sowle and passed away at his residence on June 10, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was a graduate of Carrier High School in 1934.Chub was united in marriage to Madeleine Roper February 17, 1938 and she preceded him in death June 18, 2009. Chub was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He was employed and retired after 43 years for Gold Spot Dairy. He then drove a school bus for Enid Schools for 18 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Jenkins and her husband Dick, two granddaughters, Gina Cain and her husband Matthew, Dana Misner and her husband Michael, three great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren all of Enid. He was also preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the funds. Condolences may left online at www.ladusauevans.com.
