Mary Somers

Funeral Services for Mary M. Somers 85, of Enid will be Saturday January 4, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ladusau- Evans Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lesly Broadbent will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery.

Mary was born April 27, 1928 in Enid the daughter of W.F. and Estella Boyer. She was raised and educated in Covington, Ok. She graduated in 1946. Mary married Orville Somers on July 14, 1989. She raised three children that thought she was a wonderful mother. Mary dedicated her life to the Lord and to her children. She was a member of the West Willow View United Methodist Church. She retired from Liberty Federal Savings Bank. Mary was loved very much in return by her children and friends.

Survivors include two Daughters: Towanda Kirkley and husband Garry, Melody Scherich and Patty Montgomery and one Son: David Scherich and wife Kim. One Granddaughter Jessica Kirkley and five step-grandchidren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents W.F. and Estella, husband Orville, one Brother and five Sisters and one daughter Crystal Ann.
