Richard Snyder, Jr

Richard O “Dick” Snyder was born July 7, 1925 to Richard and Francis (Fleeman) Snyder in Sugar Creek, MO. He passed away peacefully Thursday, May 9, 2013 at home in Enid, OK.
Dick married Jean Field on August 27, 1976 in Kansas City, MO.
He was a Master Mason and a Shriner with the Akdar Shrine. He was a member of the Enid Klowns and drove a little car in many local and regional parades.
He is survived by his wife Jean, brother-in-law Robert Rice, nephews Daniel and Richard Rice, sisters-in-law Tana Field, Paula (Ed) King, Mary (Tom) Legeret, brothers-in-law Rex Field and Mike (Denise) Field. Daughter, Karen McGee, son Michael Snyder and daughter Sarah Pfeiffer, several nieces and nephews and 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Beverly Rice and many aunts and uncles.
A Memorial service will be held Monday, May 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the St Matthews Episcopal Church with Father Bob Fellows officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Shrine Hospital, St Matthews Alter Guild, or Hospice Circle of Love. Condolences may be sent to www.ladusauevans.
