Randy Eugene Snowden, age 50, went to his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy was born September 16, 1962 at Kadena AFB, Okinowa, Japan to Donald and Eileen Snowden. A graduate of Enid High School and after eight years in the US Air Force, Randy was a long time employee at Vance AFB, working as mobility specialist until disabled by illness. A big man with a big heart, Randy’s legacy is his love for his daughters, his mother, family and friends, his church, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Donald Snowden.
He is survived by his mother, Eileen Snowden of Enid, OK; daughters, Kayla and Kallie Snowden of Drummond, OK; brother, Michael Snowden and wife Cheryl of Mustang, OK; nephew Jacob Snowden and wife Brittni of Oklahoma City, OK and niece Shelby Snowden of Edmond, OK.
Never once complaining of his condition, Randy steadfastly praised the Lord for the life he was given.
Services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Cedar Ridge Wesleyan Church, Enid. Rev Ron Olson and Rev Max Colaw will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
