Nancy L. Snow age 80 of Enid went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2012. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Nancy was born November 25, 1931 in Wewoka, OK to Oliver Harrington and Lavaner Ferguson and she passed away suddenly in Greenbrier Assisted Living. She was raised in Wewoka and attended New Lima High School and graduated as Valedictorian of the 1949 graduating class. She attended Phillips University. She received her Certified Professional Secretary certification in 1978.
Nancy married Thomas Snow on November 11, 1948 in Berryville, Arkansas and he passed away February 4, 2007. She worked as an office manager of the Goodyear Store in Seminole from 1951-1956. They moved to Enid in 1961 where she worked at OG&E until retiring in 1986. She worked as the financial secretary at First Baptist Church until 1992. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Sojourners Sunday School Class.
Nancy is survived by her son Thomas H. Snow of Oklahoma City, daughter Donna Hundley and husband Rick of Enid, four grandchildren Kaci Fisher and husband Matt of Nashville, TN, Chase Hundley and wife Natalie of Oklahoma City, Thomas L. Snow and wife Jennifer of Oklahoma City, and Janene Stewart and husband Jerry of Norman, six great grandchildren Abigail, Asher, Ari, Aliyah, Jackson, and Hudson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and a sister.
