A Celebration of Life Service for Clifford E. Skaggs age 67 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-
Evans Funeral Home.
Clifford was born November 17, 1946 in Pasadena, TX to Gilbert and Anna May White Skaggs and passed away July 14, 2014 in St. Mary’s Regional Hospital. Clifford grew up in Enid where he attended school. He entered the US Army on February 3, 1965 and was discharged in 1969. He re-entered the Army in 1971 and served until 1974. In 1976 he joined the Army National Guard and retired in 1996.
Clifford married Charolette Weber on March 22, 1969 in Enid. He worked for Auto Zone, Western Auto, and in the oil field. He later went to work for Advance Food as a mechanic. He was a Mason.
Clifford is survived by his wife Charolette of the home, son Danny Skaggs of Edmond, three daughters Angela Skaggs, Anna Stubbs, and Kristin Skaggs all of Enid, four grandsons, three granddaughters, two great grandsons, and a great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Phillip and Michael, grandson, and a great granddaughter.
Memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
