Funeral services for Ruby W. Sites age 90 of Enid will be 2 pm Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev’s. Stanley Jenkins and Steve McClaren officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born November 12, 1919 in Cooperstown, N. D. to Ole and Karen Hergstad Westley and passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 in Greenbrier Nursing Home. Ruby grew up in Wheaton, IL and attended school in the Wheaton School System. Ruby married Charles E. Sites on February 10, 1949 in Wheaton, IL and he passed away on April 4, 1994.
Ruby came to Enid in 1970 from Wheaton, IL. She volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital and Enid Regional Hospital until its closing. Ruby was a member of Grace Bible Church.
Ruby is survived by a daughter, Karen Sites of Enid, two sons, John Sites of Torrance, CA and Robert (Bob) Sites of Cary, North Carolina, two step-sons, Charles Sites of Illinois and George Sites of Lake Havasu, AZ, nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, a brother Howard Westley and a sister Esther Brogie both of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and three brothers.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.
