Ella Siegmann

Funeral services for Ella M. Siegmann age 88 of Enid will be 2 pm Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the West Willow Community Church with Rev. Don Tines officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 5-6:30 pm at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ella was born December 6, 1924 in Newalla, OK to Dewey and Janetta Geyer Hanshaw and passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Greenbrier Nursing Home. She grew up and attended school in the Fay and Thomas community.

On October 22, 1943 she married Roland C. Siegmann in Thomas, OK and he passed away October 18, 1997. In 1957, she and Roland opened the House of Bargains with outlets in Enid, Nash, and Ames. They also operated the Grand Diaper Service until the disposable diaper became popular. She was the bookkeeper for Siegmann Septic Tank Service later becoming Chem-Can Services.

Ella was a charter member of West Willow Community Church.

Ella is survived by her daughter, Marcella Swaim and husband Hoy of Enid, and a son Dwayne Siegmann and wife Diana of Enid, 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, 5 brothers and 2 sisters and a host of other family.

She was preceded in death by one sister Dollie Lewis.
