Ramona Shaklee

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Ramona J. Shaklee, 84, of Enid, will be Friday, September 5, 2014, at 4:00 PM at the Willow View United Methodist Church with Pastor Lesly Broadbent officiating. Interment will follow in the Pond Creek Cemetery.
Ramona was born July 9, 1930 in Jefferson, OK the daughter of Harold and Lena Scott Ballard and passed away September 1, 2014. She was a 1948 graduate of Jefferson High School and a 1949 graduate of the Enid College of Business. She was united in marriage to Jim Shaklee on September 30, 1951 in Pond Creek and he preceded her in death on July 23, 1995. She was a retired medical assistant. She was an athlete, a musician, a quilter and a painter. An active member of Willow View’s choir, she also served for several years as the church’s historian.
Survivors include a daughter, Toni, and her husband Will Focht of Stillwater; a son, Monty, and his wife Janet Canaday, of Enid; and one grand-daughter. Kendrea Focht.
She is also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Circle of Love, Alzheimer’s Association and the Enid Symphony with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the funds. Condolences may be made on line at ladusauevans.com.
