I'Lee Semrad

The Mass of Christian Burial for I’Lee F Semrad, age 94, will be Monday, February 20, 2012 at 10:00 am at the St Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Rev Larry Kowalski and Rev Joseph Irwin will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

I’Lee was born February 8, 1918 in St Joseph, MO to Pearl Marion and Hallie Thompson Bryant and died February 15, 2012 in the Hennessey Care Center. She was raised in Enid attending and graduating from Enid High School in 1936.

She married Albert Semrad on October 1, 1939 and he passed away, October 10, 1980. She was a farm wife. She moved to Enid in 1969. She was a member of St Gregory the Great Catholic Church where she was a member of the Alter Society. She helped with the Food Pantry. She was an active member of the Phi Sigma Alpha Soroity.

Survivors include daughter, Becky Holder and husband Tom of Hennessey, OK, son, Albert Semrad and wife Barbara of Enid, OK, son, Mike Semrad of Hennessey, OK; 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, David, one sister and one brother.
