Corinna Semrad

A Celebration of Life for Corinna Sue “Susie” Semrad, age 59, of Enid, will be 3;00 pm, Monday, October 23, 2023, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Damon Burpo officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, October 22nd at the funeral home.

Susie was born January 7, 1964 to Larry and Donna (Purmort) Aebi in Enid, and passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at her home.

Susie graduated from Enid High School in 1982, and attended Autry Vo-Tech for one year. She married Phillip Semrad on September 10, 1983 at the Assembly of God Church in Garber. Together, they raised their two children, Megan, and Daniel. Susie loved her job at Pioneer Pleasant-Vale Elementary School, where she has been employed since 1992. When she was not at work, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Susie is preceded in death by her mother, Donna K. Aebi. She is survived by her father, Larry Aebi, of Waukomis; her two children; daughter, Megan Ellis, of Enid; son Daniel Semrad and wife Jessica, of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, Johnny Aebi, of Waukomis; four grandchildren, Jaryn, and Jayce Ellis, of Enid; and Madeline and Abigail Semrad, of Ft. Worth. Rick Evans, her very best friend, comforter and companion, who was always there at her side during her most difficult journey, also survives her.

Memorial contributions in Susie’s name may be made to Pioneer Pleasant-Vale Elementary with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
