A Celebration of Life for Clifford Neal Seltenreich, age 91, of Enid, is 10:00 am, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Graceway Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Strope and Chaplain Gary Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 17, 2017. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Clifford was born October 14, 1925 in Enid to John Seltenreich and Mary (Larkey) Seltenreich, and passed away Monday, February 13, 2017 in Enid.
Clifford was a lifelong Enid resident, attending and graduating from Enid High School. Clifford worked at the movie theater running the projector, and then he worked for Marquis Studio as a photographer until retirement. He traveled to many surrounding states taking school portraits. He and Pearl were avid lake and boating enthusiasts, and even did some boat racing, winning an occasional trophy. He loved a good debate on politics and the Bible. On September 1, 1946 he married Pearl Chapman in Enid.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pearl (Chapman) Seltenreich; three brothers, Alfred, Jack and Donald Seltenreich; two sisters, Willa Jean Hanes and Geneva Kowalski; and son-in-law Dennis Lewis.
Clifford is survived by four daughters and one son, Terry Youngers and husband Karl, Sharon Lewis, Tammy Wilfong and husband Mickey, all of Waukomis; Paula Swinnea and husband Frank, of Hastings, Nebraska; son Neal Seltenreich of Enid; six grandchildren; Mindy Hall and husband Russell, of Enid; Sara Owens and husband Thomas, of Enid; Abby Padilla and husband David, of Enid; Amanda Wills and husband Billy, of Enid; Matthew Swinnea, of Lincoln, Nebraska; Tracey Minto and husband David, of Omaha, Nebraska; nine great-grandchildren; Mallory and Brooklyn Owens; Ravin and Ayiana Padilla; Emily and Jack Hall; Kyra and Tommy Minto; Adelyn Wills; and sister Dorothy McCullough of Lacey, Washington.
Memorials in Clifford’s name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
