Virginia Schulz

February 28, 1953 — December 31, 2010

Ginny was born February 28, 1953, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to John J. and

Barbara Canning. Ginny passed away at her home on Friday, December 31,

2010.

Ginny graduated from Great Bend Kansas High School in 1971, continuing her

education at Adela Hale Business College. Ginny married Jimmy Dale Schulz

on August 4, 1973, in Enid. From this marriage came a beautiful daughter,

Traci Janelle Schulz.

Ginny worked as a Legal Secretary for 37 years joining Mitchel, Gaston,

Riffel, and Riffel three years ago.

Ginny was blessed with an extraordinary talent for crafting. She created

beautiful baby afghans and quilts, and worked diligently on her new-found

passion for scrap-booking, giving life to pictures of her family.

Her pride and joy were her daughter Traci, son-in-law Marcelo, and her

beautiful granddaughter Mikayla. Her cats, Buster and Bunny, were Ginny's

constant companions.

Ginny is survived by her daughter, Traci and husband Marcelo Darosa of

Irving TX; granddaughter Mikayla Darosa, also of Irving TX; parents John

J. and Barbara Canning of Enid; sister Bonnie Cannon and Dennis Valtr of Enid; brothers,

John G. and Iola Canning of Enid; Joe and Tana Canning of Ft Worth, TX;

numerous loving nieces and nephews; and a host of friends everywhere.

Ginny was preceded in death by grandparents Joe and Elma Canning; Sam

Wentworth and Virginia Altenread.

Service is 4pm Saturday, January 8 at New Hope United Methodist Church,

Enid, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, family asks donations be made in her name to the Enid
