The funeral for Marilyn J Schroeder will be held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Jim Edmison will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Marilyn was born in Enid, OK, April 4, 1934 to Riley and Mabel Phillips. She attended school in Enid and graduated from Enid High School in 1952. Marilyn married Leroy Schroeder April 3, 1953. They have two children, James and Karen and two grandchildren, Zachary and Kaitlin Bell. She went to work at Central National Bank in 1965 and retired in 1985 to moved to Rockaway Beach, MO.
Marilyn was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, holding many offices during her years of being a member and being known for being a wonderful cook.
She is survived by Leroy of the home, her children and grandchildren of Enid, siblings Joan and Frank McLean of AZ and Forrest and Barbara Phillips of Enid as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
