Kenneth Schmidt

Funeral services for Kenneth L. Schmidt Sr., 77, formerly of Fairview, will be Friday, Aug. 17,

2012, 10:30 am at the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church with Pastor James Suderman officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Hopedale Mennonite Cemetery in Meno, OK. The family will

receive friends at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 7 PM. Mr. Schmidt

passed away Aug 13, 2012 at his residence in Broken Arrow, OK.

Kenneth was born Jan. 5, 1935 near Medford, OK, the son of Ben T. and Martha Janzen

Schmidt. He was united in marriage to Carol E. Jantz Dee. 30, 1954 in Enid, OK. He was a farm

equipment salesman for many years. He was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Brethren

Church.

Survivors include his wife Carol of the home, three sons, Kenneth Schmidt Jr. and his wife

Joann of Cypress, TX, Greg Schmidt and his wife Marguerite of Newton, KS and Steve Schmidt

and his wife Corinna of Broken Arrow, OK, 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren,

brother, Vernon Schmidt and his wife Ruby of Fairview, OK, two sisters, Verda Mae Thomas

and her husband Paul of Ringwood, OK and Diann Patrick and her husband Lon of Broken

Arrow, OK. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Nicholas and Melissa.
