Dorothy Saunders

A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Dorothy Jean Saunders, 85, of Enid, will be Wednesday, December 3, 2014, 11:00 AM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. Interment will follow in the Waurika Cemetery, Waurika, OK, Thursday, December 4, 2014, 2:00 PM

Dorothy was born April 4, 1929 in Waurika, OK the daughter of Albert and Effie Brashears Howard and passed away November 30, 2014. Dorothy was united in marriage to Damon D Huskey in 1947 in Waurika, OK and he preceded her in death in 2010. She then married Archie Saunders and he preceded her in death. Dorothy was employed by Stanley Home Products as a Salesperson for many years. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church, church treasurer, active in the United Methodist Women and Women’s Circle. She taught Aquatic exercise at the YMCA for over 28 years.

Survivors include a daughter Kathryn Livengood and her husband Gary of Crescent, OK, a son, Terry Huskey of Enid, six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a sister-in-law, Sharon Howard and her family and numerous cousins. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
