Jimmy Rowland

Jimmy R Rowland, 72, was born in Perryville, AR on January 31, 1940 to Ervin J Rowland and Lillian Rowland Black with siblings Bonnie Reed and Betty Walker and died August 5, 2012 in Enid, OK. He served the military in 1957 for eight years. In 1960 he started serving the Lord in ministry. He met and married his love, Sharon Crawford on October 27, 1963. Jimmy and Sharon had three children, all of Oklahoma: James and Patty Rowland of Seminole, Melody and Dan Phelps of Lawton, John and Janice Rowland of Enid. He loved fishing, hunting, growing fruits and vegetables. Most of all he loved OU football, family, and last but not least, the Spirit of the Holy Ghost. Years went by, bringing him twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Lyons, Shirley Taylor; and father, Ervin James.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 am at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Alvin Dalton will officiate. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
