A Celebration of Life for Brynda Kay Row, age 52, of Covington, is 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at the Covington-Douglas Memorial Gym with Reverend Dawn Richards and Reverend Dane Lemmons to officiate. Burial will follow in the Covington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Brynda was born September 13, 1963 in Enid to Buell Olmstead and Martha (Casteel) Olmstead, and passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Brynda attended many schools being the daughter of an Air Force family. She attended school at Reece Air Force Base in Lubbock, Texas, Karamusel CDI, in Turkey, and Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota, then to Commerce, Texas and finally coming to Covington, Oklahoma where she graduated with the class of 1982. She married Matt Harmon on August 14, 1981 and they had three children, Brandy, Mandy and Chase. Brynda attended Enid Beauty College graduating in 1995 and started Hair by Brynda shortly after where she worked up until February of 2015 and her daughter Brandy still continues to operate her shop today. She married Adam Row November 13, 2004 in Enid and they blended their families, her three children and Adams’ twins, Hunter and Brandon building their lives together in Covington. Family was most important to Brynda, she was a very active supporter of her children and grandchildren’s activities, never missing a ballgame, school program, Chases cheer competitions, or Hattie’s dance recitals. She loved her church, Lucien United Methodist Church where was active on several committies, served as president of Agape Circle, helped with bible school and was always ready to help where she was needed. Brynda enjoyed going to the casino with her mother and friends, she enjoyed ‘girls night’ with friends, Cindy and Annie, but what she cherished most was spending time with her family, especially her “grandbabies.”

Brynda was passionate about her beauty shop and she loved interacting with her loyal customers.

Brynda was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Olmstead, and brother in law Jeff Row.

She is survived by her husband Adam Row, of the home in Covington; her parents, Buell and Martha Olmstead, of Covington; father and mother in law, Buddy and Ginger Row, of Enid; mother and father in law Mary Ann and David Stuart of Garber; brother Bryan Olmstead and wife Fina, of Ft. Worth, Texas; six children, Brandy Warriner of Garber; Mandy Wood and husband Tony, of Kingfisher; Chase Harmon of Stillwater; Hunter and Brandon Row, of the home in Covington; Jessica Ellison and husband Dale, of Whitefield, Oklahoma; and their three children Montana, Cherish and Cali; three grandchildren, Audrey and Tae Warriner, and Hattie Wood; a niece, Holly Olmstead, of Ft. Worth, as well as many other aunts, uncles, family and a multitude of friends.

Memorials in Brynda’s name may be made to the Brynda Kay Row Memorial Fund with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
