Velma Roggow

Graveside service for Velma Ruth Roggow age 87 of Enid will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 18, 2015 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Velma was born December 11, 1927 in Enid to Herman H. and Julia M Hamm Pereboom and passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 in the Golden Oaks Nursing Home. She attended and graduated from Enid High School and attended Oklahoma State University graduating with a Dietician Degree.

Velma went to work for Ralston Purina Company in St. Louis, MO and later for the U.S. Navy in Baltimore, MD. She moved back to Enid where she married Herman Roggow on August 28, 1995 in Kingfisher, OK and he passed away September 22, 2010.

She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her brother Robert Lee Pereboom and wife Tina of Giddings, TX, niece Stephanae and Nephew Robert (Robbie) Pereboom, step children Virgil and Verlon Roggow, Valeria Lewis and Viann Garrison.
