The Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret A Rogers, age 98 will be held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 12:00 pm at the St Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The Rosary will be given at 11:30 am at the church before the service. Rev Joseph Irwin will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Enid, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Margaret was born February 28, 1913 in Bison, OK to Joseph and Millie Rudd Balk and died October 13, 2011 in Oklahoma City, OK.
She married Frank Rogers on January 28, 1944 in St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Enid, OK. He preceded her in death February 20, 1997.
She was an angel on earth, who touched everyone she came in contact with. She loved her family and friends. She was sports fan, especially the Atlanta Braves. She enjoyed games and in her later years, going to Bunco was her favorite pastime.

Survivors include her daughter, Jo Anne Griswold and husband John and son, Tom Rogers and wife Willa; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Ramonda Laughlin of Enid, OK, and brother, Ernest Balk of New Braunfels, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank, brothers, Leo Balk, Lloyd Balk, Bernard Balk; sisters, Evelyn Stokes, Loretta Weber and Dorothy Maggert.
