A graveside service for Buddy L. Reed age 77 of Enid will be Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Alan Seibel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Buddy’s request was to be cremated.

He was born October 26, 1935 in Amarillo, TX to Alvin and Faye Hess Reed and passed away at his home on May 29, 2013. He moved to Enid at a young age where he attended Enid Public Schools graduating in 1954. He entered the National Guard and served 4 years. He worked as a printer for Otis Phillips Printing for several years.

Buddy married Sandra Walton in 1960 and with this union two children Gary and Shawna were born. In 1972 he married Mary Etta Hutson King to that union he gained five loving children and she passed away on February 6, 2013.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, and tinkering in the garage and making people laugh.

He is survived by his children Gary and wife Judy Reed, Shawna and John Gaines, Eddie and Carol King, and Paula and Don Simms all of Enid, Bobby King of Elk City, and Patsy Phee of South Carolina and 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren, and a sister Kathryn Ronning of Salina, KS.

He was preceded in death by parents, a brother Robert Reed, and a daughter Donna Faye Decker, grandson Randall Decker, great grandson Cord Brooks.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.
