Olive Quinton

Olive Anne Quinton was born November 10th, 1932 in Wellington, England to Florence Roast Hart and Leonard Hart. She died September 8th, 2011 at her home in Garber, Oklahoma.

Olive immigrated to the United States aboard the ship, Queen Mary, in 1948. Olive made her home in Oklahoma and eventually married Donald Ray Horn in 1953. Of that marriage, Olive bore her three children. She later divorced and remarried Johnny Quinton in 1972, whom died in 1983.

Olive enjoyed crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family. "Grandma Ollie" was an incredibly creative and loving woman that will be missed dearly.

Olive is survived by her three children; Denise Logan of Garber, Gary Horn and Zedra Primus of Waukomis, and Pat and Frank Burdick of Enid. Olive is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was the last survivor of all her siblings.

Funeral services will be held at Ladusau-Evans Chapel on Tuesday, September 13th, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
