Funeral Services for Teddie ”Ted” L. Priest age 76 of Waukomis will be 2 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Marten Spena officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Ted was born October 6, 1937 in Elmore City to Elmer and Alice Pickens Priest and passed away February 5, 2014 in St. Mary’s Hospital. Ted grew up and attended school in Elmore City. He married Polly Davis January 13, 1962 in Gainesville, TX. He moved to Waukomis in 1975.
Ted was the owner of Northwest Food Equipment. Ted enjoyed his OU Sooners, Bowling, Dominos, Rook, card games, deer hunting, and his family was the most important thing to him.
Ted is survived by his wife Polly of the home, sons Tim and his wife Kathi of Waukomis, Ted and wife Ann of Potomac Falls, VA, Mike and wife Jill of Edmond, daughter Shelly and husband Ravin Gunter of Waukomis, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, three sisters, Waunice Turner of Tulsa, Wanette Jones of Ragley, LA, and Sue Clem of Yukon, OK and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Anthony and sister Eunice.
