Carl Powell

Celebration of life service for Carl Eugene Powell, 78, of Enid will be held Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Rev Gay Cocheres will officiate. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Carl was born April 7, 1936 in Enid, OK to Carl and Ora Brewer Powell and passed away February 12, 2015 in Enid.
He joined the US Air Force and while stationed in Germany he met, Pauline Jarmyn in England. They married on April 27, 1957 in London, England and came back to the United States, living in numerous cities including Enid, OK. Carl was an air traffic controller for the F.A.A. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline of the home; daughter, Terri and husband Steve Cooper of Sulphur, LA; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Evalene Hemby of Ft Worth, TX; brother, Claude B Powell and wife Shirley of Enid, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Kim Elaine Litzell, son, Carl “Chip” Eugene Powell, Jr and brother, William Levy Powell.
